SOUTHFIELD/OAKLAND COUNTY — The Great Lakes Chamber Music Festival has appointed its next artistic director.

SOUTHFIELD — Madison Sims-Griffin, 16, has been found and is safe, according to an email released by Southfield law enforcement.

SOUTHFIELD — One person is dead after a fatal car crash that occurred at approximately 7:17 p.m. Feb. 12 in the area of Greenfield Road and Foster Winter Drive, south of Nine Mile Road.

SOUTHFIELD — According to the Southfield Police Department, missing teenager Nyana Franklin-Hudson, 16, has safely returned home.

LATHRUP VILLAGE — The Lathrup Village City Council gave a proclamation during its Jan. 26 meeting condemning the fatal U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and U.S. Border Patrol shootings in Minnesota.
