HAZEL PARK — A local pawn shop was broken into and its guns stolen by a group of men. Police believe they have captured two of the suspects, but the other two suspects are still at large, and there may be connections between them and other burglaries in the area.

MADISON HEIGHTS — A lawsuit has been filed in federal court against the Madison Heights Police Department and four of its officers, alleging they used excessive force on a resident last year and violated his constitutional rights under the Fourth and 14th amendments.

ROSEVILLE — A suspect allegedly fleeing from Roseville police was struck by a vehicle on Interstate 94 during the afternoon Aug. 14.

BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP — A scheduled preliminary exam in the 48th District Court in Bloomfield Township for Jordan Worrall, the man who allegedly threatened to kill a Novi judge, was adjourned Aug. 3 to allow time for a mental health evaluation and a possible consolidation of cases with charges in the 52-1 District Court.

FRASER — On July 27, a Macomb County jury convicted Jeffery Clark on all charges including first degree murder after a two day jury trial.

SHELBY TOWNSHIP — A 20-year-old Sterling Heights man has been arrested for allegedly delivering THC products to kids at local schools.

TROY/STERLING HEIGHTS — An 18-year-old Warren resident was hospitalized following a crash that took place at 9:30 p.m. July 31.

WARREN — Two suspects who allegedly burglarized homes in Warren and others in Macomb, Wayne and Oakland counties are now in police custody facing felony charges.

WARREN — On July 13, the Warren Police Department’s Special Investigation Narcotics unit seized 2 kilograms of fentanyl, 1 kilogram of methamphetamine and approximately 3,500 methamphetamine pills from the Roseville home of a 23-year-old suspect, after receiving an anonymous tip.
