ROSEVILLE — A 40-year-old St. Clair Shores resident died in a single-vehicle crash at approximately 9 p.m. March 25 near the intersection of Frazho and Kelly roads March 25.

ROYAL OAK — Royal Oak police have a 46-year-old man in custody following a domestic assault report and three-hour standoff that began at 4:55 p.m. March 25 in the 1600 block of Whitcomb Avenue, in the area of North Campbell and East 14 Mile roads.

SOUTHFIELD — The Michigan State Police announced that beginning this month, they will utilize a scrap metal processing facility in Jackson to dispose of firearms in alignment with state laws that require that all guns from buybacks and crime scenes, and outdated law enforcement weapons, be turned in to the Michigan State Police for proper disposal.

ROCHESTER HILLS — A 30-year-old woman from Florida was fatally struck by a motorist on M-59 in Rochester Hills the morning of March 15, according to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office.

GROSSE POINTE WOODS/DETROIT — A plea deal is likely in the case of Edmond Doheny, the Grosse Pointe Woods man accused of murdering his younger brother, Dennis Doheny, in the early morning hours of Oct. 6.

MOUNT CLEMENS — On March 13, Fraser resident Hunter Locke-Hughes was ordered to serve 90 months to 30 years in prison on first-degree child abuse and involuntary manslaughter charges in the drowning death of Terry Adams, a 6-year-old special needs child.

BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP — The Bloomfield Township Police Department is investigating an incident of stranger-danger involving a suspicious vehicle and a middle school student.

FARMINGTON HILLS — A suspect has been charged following an assault that took place at a YMCA located at 28100 Farmington Road in Farmington Hills.

TROY/ROCHESTER HILLS — A 30-year-old woman from Florida was fatally struck by a motorist on M-59 in Rochester Hills the morning of March 15, according to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office.

WARREN — Two Warren police officers were charged with assault last summer for their alleged actions during a traffic stop. The officers were later fired by the Warren Police Department for misconduct, and a settlement was reportedly paid to the victim at the agreement of city attorneys with the authorization of the city’s former administration.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP — The on-site investigation into the March 4 fire at a Clinton Township business has begun, according to township officials.
