FRASER — Library patrons are invited to create art and keep up on their reading with the Fraser Public Library’s 2025 summer reading program.

ST. CLAIR SHORES — An injury crash involving a golf cart occurred at 11 Mile Road and Harper Avenue on May 25, before the St. Clair Shores Memorial Day Parade officially kicked off.

HARRISON TOWNSHIP — On May 12, the Harrison Township Board of Trustees voted 7-0 to go back for another bid to remove sediment in the Archer/Lakeshore canal area as part of a special assessment district project.

ST. CLAIR SHORES — One local man recognizes veterans through a beautiful display every year hoping to educate the public and help veterans feel recognized.

FRASER — At their council meeting on May 8, the Fraser City Council voted to approve a request by Sheetz to amend the rezoning conditions for lights originally set in the first agreement.

ST. CLAIR SHORES — At its meeting on May 5, the St. Clair Shores City Council approved restriping on Nine Mile Road in a 6-0 vote.

ST. CLAIR SHORES — Junefest is coming back to St. Clair Shores from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 7.

ST. CLAIR SHORES — The St. Clair Shores City Council listened to a budget hearing on April 28. This is the layout of the budget for fiscal year 2025-2026 they will be asked to consider and approve with or without changes in the weeks to come.

HARRISON TOWNSHIP — A 23-year-old Detroit man has been charged in the alleged sexual assault of a teenage girl at Lake St. Clair Metropark on May 10.
