ST. CLAIR SHORES — The St. Clair Shores Memorial Day Parade preparations are in full swing to celebrate Memorial Day the St. Clair Shores way.

METRO DETROIT –– As severe weather rears its head throughout Michigan, there are important tools and tips Michiganders should keep in mind when protecting themselves and their families. 

FRASER — At its meeting on March 12, the Fraser City Council decided on a number of items including park trash cans, the pavement program, and a sewer lining contract recommendation. 

HARRISON TOWNSHIP — The 2025 Harrison Township Firefighter of the Year award went to Engineer Mac Tomaszewski, an award he says came as a shock.

ST. CLAIR SHORES — Every year, the St. Clair Shores Waterfront Environmental Committee gathers volunteers to complete their Nautical Coast Cleanup to care for the shoreline and kick off the summer. 

FRASER — The Fraser First Booster Club wants community members to help find a path at their first Trample the Trail event.

ST. CLAIR SHORES — According to a press release from the Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office, a St. Clair Shores man was arranged on third-degree animal torture charges. 

ST. CLAIR SHORES — The St. Clair Shores Public Library has a lot in store for their summer reading program this year, but it will look a little different from prior years. 

ST. CLAIR SHORES — In a 7-0 vote, the St. Clair Shores City Council approved the use of Community Development Block Grant funding to renovate the bocce ball courts at the Senior Activity Center at their meeting on March 16.

ST. CLAIR SHORES — At its meeting on March 16, the St. Clair Shores City Council agreed to adopt a resolution opposing a bipartisan series of proposed state laws that sponsors claim would reduce zoning restrictions and spur housing development in Michigan. 

HARRISON TOWNSHIP —The Harrison Township Board of Trustees has approved items related to a special assessment district for the Archer, Lakeshore and Pardee canals.

FRASER — Fraser will once again host a marshmallow drop this year filled with fun, candy and spring joy.

ST. CLAIR SHORES — At its meeting on March 2, the St. Clair Shores City Council approved a bid award for the District 3 sanitary sewer lining project in a 7-0 vote.

ST. CLAIR SHORES — A little over two years ago, St. Germaine Catholic School in St. Clair Shores closed its doors at the end of the academic year after a fundraising effort by school families and the St. Clair Shores community apparently came up short.

ST. CLAIR SHORES — On March 2, the St. Clair Shores City Council approved a site plan for the former Rite Aid building on Jefferson Avenue at Marter Road in a 7-0 vote.
