ST. CLAIR SHORES — On Jan. 19, a St. Clair Shores resident celebrated her 100th birthday.  Marjorie Nank grew up in Grosse Pointe Farms. She grew up boating as her father was a fisherman on Lake St. Clair.  Nank found work for herself typing documents for a neighbor.

ROCHESTER — In an effort to help boost sales for local restaurants, the Rochester Downtown Development Authority is once again hosting Foodie February.

GROSSE POINTE FARMS — As Valentine’s Day approaches, Grosse Pointe Theatre is in the mood for love. Or, more specifically, love stories.The Purdon Studio Theatre, GPT’s black box theater arm, was an ideal fit for the intertwined vignettes following couples in various throes of relationships in “Almost, Maine."
