BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP — A scheduled preliminary exam in the 48th District Court in Bloomfield Township for Jordan Worrall, the man who allegedly threatened to kill a Novi judge, was adjourned Aug. 3 to allow time for a mental health evaluation and a possible consolidation of cases with charges in the 52-1 District Court.

NOVI  — The Novi Parks Foundation held its annual Pour on the Shore fundraiser July 28 with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Jessica’s Splashpad, which broke ground earlier this summer.

NOVI — Since opening Ronaldo Candido Academy Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2018, Candido has brought the art of jiu-jitsu to Novi and its surrounding areas, allowing children and adults to train and grow with their mixed martial arts craft.
