FERNDALE —  Ferndale Parks and Recreation will be hosting its annual Geary Park Skate Jam from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 6, at Geary Park, 1198 Earle Blvd.

FERNDALE — The Ferndale Parks and Recreation Department has launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds to improve its inline skating rink.

FERNDALE — The city of Ferndale is moving forward with its plans for a pilot program for downtown valet parking. Approved at its May 11 meeting, the City Council approved both the three-month pilot program and a lease agreement with Credit Union One to use its parking lot for the valet service.

BERKLEY/HUNTINGTON WOODS — Antisemitic pamphlets were found to have been distributed from Coolidge Highway to Woodward Avenue, between 11 and 12 Mile roads, overnight May 15-16, according to the Berkley Department of Public Safety.

FERNDLE — Ferndale Public Schools will be hosting a meeting to gauge community interest in the creation of a district foundation.

BERKLEY — The Berkley Public Safety Department is turning to the public to get help on a larceny that took place this week.

FERNDALE — Applications for the vacant seat on the Ferndale City Council have now closed.

BERKLEY — An unfortunate accident at a crosswalk in Berkley led to the death of a small dog. According to the Berkley Public Safety Department, the incident took place at approximately 8:35 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, near Coolidge Highway and Harvard Road.

FERNDALE — A staple of Ferndale’s celebration of art will be back in the residential neighborhoods this weekend.
