MOUNT CLEMENS — City Commissioners began giving gifts early this season, as they opened up the month of December by granting their approval of the 41B District Court’s 2026 budget.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP — With the holiday season now underway, the sight of evergreen wreaths around town is nigh inescapable. Doors, garages, streetlights and more are adorned with the circular bundles of branches signifying the coming of winter and impending late-December holidays — but what if they could be something more?

MACOMB COUNTY — Though the usual “state of” address focuses on events and achievements within the past year, the 2025 State of Macomb County speech celebrated 15 years of having a county executive.

MACOMB TOWNSHIP — The Macomb Township Board of Trustees voted to lower fees associated with the township’s parks and recreation offerings at the board’s Nov. 12 meeting. Township Clerk Kristi Pozzi was absent.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP — Grand Rapids-based retailer Meijer filed a “detailed letter of intent” to open a new store around 15 Mile Road and Gratiot Avenue, according to an Oct. 31 announcement from Clinton Township.

MOUNT CLEMENS — Throwbacks and tributes are aplenty at 125 Macomb Place as the Anton Art Center finishes up 2025 by highlighting a long-time collaborator, continuing its traditional art market and touching up old friends around the city.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP — It was a new venue, old messages and all Paul Gieleghem at the 2025 State of Clinton Township.

MOUNT CLEMENS — Voters in Mount Clemens stuck with what they knew on Election Day 2025, voting to keep incumbents in office based on unofficial results of the Nov. 4 election.
