MACOMB COUNTY — If there is anything criminals care less about than the law, it is jurisdictional boundaries. In order to more effectively combat drug crime across Macomb County, the Warren Police Department has been given countywide jurisdiction from the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office as part of a narcotics task force.

MACOMB COUNTY — It’s a new verse, same as the first. Much more digital and a fair bit worse. As the limits of technology are pushed further, so too are the frontiers of scammers looking to make their money off of the misfortune of others.

MOUNT CLEMENS — Between the dazzling lights of Walnut Street and the bustling thoroughfare of Southbound Gratiot, those who have recently perused Mount Clemens’ downtown might have noticed something new: an opened Macomb Place.

MOUNT CLEMENS — City Commissioners began giving gifts early this season, as they opened up the month of December by granting their approval of the 41B District Court’s 2026 budget.

MACOMB COUNTY — Though the usual “state of” address focuses on events and achievements within the past year, the 2025 State of Macomb County speech celebrated 15 years of having a county executive.

MACOMB TOWNSHIP — The Macomb Township Board of Trustees voted to lower fees associated with the township’s parks and recreation offerings at the board’s Nov. 12 meeting. Township Clerk Kristi Pozzi was absent.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP — An investigation remained ongoing at press time Dec. 3, more than a week after a shooting at The Mall at Partridge Creek left one man injured.

MACOMB TOWNSHIP — With the cost of food going up and inflation on people’s minds, students at one Chippewa Valley school will soon be able to get food they need regardless of the economic situation at home.

MOUNT CLEMENS — City commissioners took time out of the Nov. 17 meeting to recognize a local hero for her actions.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP — Trustees gave their approval to the 41B District Court’s 2026 budget at the board’s Nov. 17 meeting, but it was not without comment.

MOUNT CLEMENS — There are not many traditions that have been running for 50 years, but the Mount Clemens Santa Parade is one of them.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP — While a good portion of Nov. 3 Clinton Township Board of Trustees meeting was taken up by a dispute with a resident over a sewer line, general business at the meeting was weighted toward project approvals.
