Emagine to show Michigan in College Football Championship on the big screen

METRO DETROIT — With the University of Michigan Wolverines securing a trip to this year’s College Football Championship, many fans are looking for a place to enjoy the game. Emagine Theaters is offering a special opportunity to see the game on the big screen.

The Wolverines defeated the University of Alabama Crimson Tide in the semi-final game at the Rose Bowl on Jan. 1, giving the top-ranked Michigan a chance to win it all on Monday, Jan. 8 against the University of Washington Huskies. The two will square off in Houston, Texas at 7:30 p.m.

Participating Emagine theaters will show the game on their movie screens. Tickets are $20 and are sold at www.emagine-entertainment.com or at participating box offices. It is an all-ages event.

They also will offer some gridiron-themed treats. This includes the Wolverine Bite, consisting of Corazo Blanco, Blue Curacao, lime juice, simple syrup, and lemonade; Husky Hooch, consisting of Wheatley Vodka, Crème de Violette, lime juice, simple syrup, and lemonade; and $6 Light Draft Beers as well as the Smashbox Combo, consisting of chicken tenders, cheese curds, and chicken bacon jalapeno quesadillas as well as the Touchdown Combo, consisting of pizza, nachos and pretzel bites.

The University of Michigan Wolverines will be facing the University of Washington Huskies in Houston, Texas during the College Football Playoff National Championship game on Monday, January 8, 2024. The college football game will kick off at 7:30 EST. and will be broadcast live on the BIG screen at select Emagine locations in Michigan and Indiana.

Participating theaters include: Emagine Saline, Emagine Royal Oak, Emagine Rochester Hills, Emagine Novi, Emagine Canton, Emagine Macomb, Emagine Palladium, Emagine Woodhaven, Quality 10 Powered by Emagine in Saginaw, Emagine Portage in Indiana, and Emagine Noblesville in Indiana.
