METRO DETROIT — Corewell Health in Southeast Michigan has compiled a list of the top baby names in the state for 2023, with Noah and Charlotte taking the top spots.
By year’s end, Corewell Health will have delivered about 30,000 babies statewide, which they said is more than any other hospital system in Michigan.
For two years in a row, Noah topped the list of boy’s names at the seven Corewell Health hospitals offering labor and delivery care in Southeast Michigan. Charlotte was a new entry, taking this year’s top spot for girls.
The top 10 names chosen for boys were, in order, Noah, Liam, Lucas, Luca, Benjamin, Leo, Ali, Theodore, Jack and Henry.
The top 10 names chosen for girls were, in order, Charlotte, Olivia, Amelia, Mila, Emma, Gianna, Isabella, Sophia, Nora and Ava.
