Police are looking for witnesses after a construction worker was injured in a car crash on West Long Lake Road Nov. 19.
Police said the crash occurred at approximately 5:29 p.m.
An 81-year-old resident of West Bloomfield was driving a 2022 Range Rover in the construction zone on West Long Lake Road, near Kirkway Road, when a 24-year-old construction worker was hit.
The construction worker, who lives in Novi, was rushed to the hospital by the Bloomfield Township Fire Department and was listed in critical condition at press time.
Police said drugs and alcohol are not believed to be a factor in the crash and noted that the driver remained at the scene after the crash.
