A pair of Huntington Woods residents organized the fundraiser, which brought in $7,000 to improve the course. FERNDALE — Ferndale’s one-day music festival located on the porches of homes in the city will return later this month. The Front Porch will take place over the course of Saturday, June 22, at dozens of homes across Ferndale. In total, 56 artists and bands will perform on 32 porches, according to organizers.

FERNDALE — Police officers from five cities helped arrest a man who allegedly committed armed robbery at a local 7-Eleven at approximately 2:20 a.m. May 21. Police arrested 24-year-old John Briggs, of Ferndale, after he allegedly pulled a gun on a cashier at 7-Eleven, 1040 W. Nine Mile Road, and stole more than $150 and Juul pods for e-cigarettes.
