Warren leaders will bartend to raise money for Warren Kiwanis Club

WARREN — Several local officials are brushing up on their cocktails as they prepare to serve as guest bartenders to raise money for the Warren Kiwanis Club.

Newly elected Warren Mayor Lori Stone, State Senator Paul Wojno, and Warren Treasurer Lorie Barnwell will guest bartend at Tipsy McStagers in Warren beginning at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 11. Any food also purchased at the event, a portion will go to Warren Kiwanis

Thursday January 11th at 6pm, newly elected Warren Mayor Lori Stone, State Senator Paul Wojno, and Warren Treasurer Lorie Barnwell will guest bartenders at Tipsy McStagers in Warren to raise money for Warren Kiwanis. A as well. Warren Kiwanis is an active service organization in Warren and a 501c3.

"Yearly, the Warren Kiwanis also awards thousands of scholarship dollars to help local students further their education,” Warren Kiwanis leader Wally Bieber said in a press release. “This is done in conjunction with organizing Key Clubs in high school to foster leadership skills and promote their service in our communities."

This will be Treasurer Lorie Barnwell's second bartender event for Warren Kiwanis.

"I am so excited to once again help raise funds for this organization who help so many in our community,” she said in a press release. “(I’m) looking forward to seeing many residents come out for a good time and a great cause!”

Tipsy McStagers is located at 7280 Twelve Mile Road, in Warren.
