Top goals: Oakland Township’s Park and Recreation Commission has done an exemplary job in creating family friendly parks; including resident’s in the decision making process; obtaining grants for land purchases; and I intend to keep supporting this effort.  If elected, I would focus on deer monitoring,  vernal pool data collection, invasive plant removal, native plant restoration and John Muir’s vision of natural parkland preservation for future generations to enjoy. Also, create educational and volunteer opportunities for residents.
