BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP — Voters in Bloomfield Township will have the chance to weigh in on two millage proposals Nov. 8.

WARREN/CENTER LINE — In the Warren Weekly’s coverage area, voters will elect candidates vying for various federal, state, county, judicial and school board seats on Nov. 8.

STERLING HEIGHTS — In the Sentry’s coverage area, voters will decide on Nov. 8 Michigan’s next governor; national and state legislators; county commissioners; and more.

FARMINGTON/FARMINGTON HILLS — In the Farmington Press’ coverage area, voters will decide on Nov. 8 Michigan’s next governor; national and state legislators; county commissioners; and more.

METRO DETROIT — The voting process looks a lot different than it did even as recently as five years ago for many Michigan residents.

MADISON HEIGHTS/HAZEL PARK — In the Madison-Park News coverage area, voters will elect candidates vying for various federal, state, county, judicial and school board seats on Nov. 8. Voters will also decide state-level judicial contests.

MOUNT CLEMENS/HARRISON TOWNSHIP/CLINTON TOWNSHIP — In the Journal coverage area, voters will elect candidates vying for various federal, state, county, judicial and school board seats on Nov. 8. They will also pick candidates for county executive, Clinton Township trustee, local school boards, and various judicial posts.

HAZEL PARK/MADISON HEIGHTS — On Nov. 8, Hazel Park Mayor Pro Tem Mike McFall and Madison Heights resident Robert Noble will square off for a seat representing the newly redrawn 8th District of the Michigan House of Representatives. McFall is running as a Democrat, and Noble as a Republican.

WARREN — Debbie Branch, of White Pigeon, Michigan, is among those voters who believe fraud occurred in the last U.S. presidential election in November 2020.

GREATER WEST BLOOMFIELD — Aside from voting for candidates running for elected offices, on Nov. 8, Oakland County residents will also decide whether to approve a new millage and opt in to an agreement with the Suburban Mobility Authority for Regional Transportation.

HARRISON TOWNSHIP/ST. CLAIR SHORES — Democrat Dana Camphous-Peterson and Republican Barbara Zinner will run against each other in the general election Nov. 8 for a seat representing the Macomb County Board of Commissioners’ 9th District. 

OAKLAND COUNTY — On Aug. 10, the Oakland County Board of Commissioners voted to put a measure on the November ballot for all Oakland County residents to decide whether they wish to approve a new millage and opt into an agreement with the Suburban Mobility Authority for Regional Transportation as a county instead of on a community-by-community basis.

SOUTHFIELD —  A capital facilities bond has been proposed for the Southfield Public Schools that aims to right-size the district by closing and demolishing underutilized sites, while improving facilities and programming at the buildings that remain.

SOUTHFIELD/LATHRUP VILLAGE — In the Southfield Sun’s coverage area, voters on Aug. 2 selected candidates to represent their respective parties in the general election on Nov. 8.

TROY — Tudor Dixon emerged as the presumed winner of the Aug. 2 race for a Republican gubernatorial nominee.

ROCHESTER/ROCHESTER HILLS/OAKLAND TOWNSHIP — Voters made their party picks for governor, candidates for Congress and a number of local races in Oakland County Aug. 2.

GROSSE POINTES — In the Grosse Pointes, the Aug. 2 primary election demonstrated the trend toward absentee voting.

OAKLAND COUNTY — Voters across Oakland County hit the polls on to decide races in the Aug. 2 primary election.

BERKLEY — A Berkley city councilwoman is moving on to compete for a seat in the Michigan House of Representatives in November.

MACOMB TOWNSHIP — The candidates who won their respective state and county primary races Aug. 2 are now preparing their campaigns for the general election Nov. 8.
