CLINTON TOWNSHIP/FRASER — The candidates who won their respective state and county primary races Aug. 2 are now preparing their campaigns for the general election Nov. 8.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP — After more than 22 years of compliance and work, the Clinton Township Board of Trustees announced it had finally completed “Administrative Consent Order SW00-002” at its July 25 meeting.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP/MACOMB TOWNSHIP — Pop culture fans, rejoice! The Clinton-Macomb Public Library is holding its annual Comic Con at the main branch on Saturday, Aug. 13.

HARRISON TOWNSHIP — Democrat Dana Camphous-Peterson and Republican Barbara Zinner will run against each other in the general election Nov. 8 for a seat representing the Macomb County Board of Commissioners 9th District.

HARRISON TOWNSHIP — A millage increase to fund police, fire and general operations was approved in Harrison Township Aug. 2 with 51.6% of the vote.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP — The Clinton Township Board of Trustees approved an ordinance allowing food trucks in the community at its July 11 meeting.

MACOMB TOWNSHIP — The Macomb Township Board of Trustees voted to keep its current water rate at its July 13 meeting.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP — There’s a new face at the head of Clintondale Middle School. Maria Romain, the former assistant principal at Clintondale High School, is the new middle school principal.

MOUNT CLEMENS — The Anton Art Center has many things. From its gallery to its studio and classes, the Mount Clemens center has nearly everything related to the world of arts.

HARRISON TOWNSHIP — The Clinton River Cut-Off boat launch will be closed until later this fall, according to a statement by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.
