SHELBY TOWNSHIP — The Shelby Township Police Department is looking for the owner of a MoneyGram money order that was turned in to the department in mid-October.

Police have not released the amount of the money order or any other information. If the rightful owner can tell police the name, issuing agent and/or amount of the check, the department asks that the owner call the department at (586) 731-2121, ext. 311, and talk to the property clerk.

“We want to see this check/money go to its rightful owner,” Shelby Township Police Sgt. Mark Benedettini said via email.
