ROSEVILLE — RoseFest is on track to take place June 15 at Veterans Memorial Park in Roseville.

This year’s festival will feature a zip line; pedal cars; magicians; balloon twisting; face painting; sidewalk chalk; a showing of the family movie “Trolls Band Together”; a foam party; family Nerf gun wars; a craft tent; dance and karate demonstrations; food trucks; a classic car show; and a photo booth. A DJ will provide musical entertainment and the Blue Cat Band will perform.

The festival was approved by the Roseville City Council at its special meeting March 19. A temporary traffic control order was approved for streets surrounding the park at the council’s May 28 meeting.

Roseville City Manager Ryan Monroe said things are falling into place for the upcoming festival.

“Council’s really excited and happy to bring this back,” Monroe said. “This was a yearly festival we had for many, many years. COVID kind of shut it down. We’re bringing it back. It’s a little bit smaller scale, but it’s going to be a completely free event for our residents.”

RoseFest will start up at noon and run until 10 p.m. The annual event has been running since 2014, but it was canceled in 2020-21 due to the global pandemic.
