ROYAL OAK — A free trip to the dentist is definitely something to smile about.
Dr. Dolores J. Baran’s “Royal Oak Smiles” dental office at Catalpa Drive and North Main Street in downtown Royal Oak will host the first of what she hopes will become an annual “Free Dental Day” outreach on May 15.
“It’s one day, from 8 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. you can come in and get a free cleaning, free filling or free extraction,” Dr. Baran said. “It’s just our way of giving back to the community.”
Experience, technology, efficiency and safety combine in her Royal Oak Smiles office, which has been described as more like a dental spa than a clinic. Many procedures can be completed in just one visit with very few outside referrals, as general dentistry, cosmetic restorations and oral surgery are all performed on-site.
Investments in state-of-the-art equipment and technology translate to patient convenience and comfort and the overall efficiency of this standout practice.
A graduate of the University of Michigan’s School of Dentistry, Dr. Baran has more than 35 years of experience, including more than 20 in her Royal Oak office. She’s the third owner of the legacy dental practice, which will turn 100 years old in 2030, and is proud to have earned the trust of many multigenerational families.
She invites new and established patients to take advantage of the Free Dental Day outreach, and to support the effort by volunteering time or expertise. It’s an endeavor meant to build community, one smile at a time.
“I have done a lot of things as far as charity work throughout the years. This is just another thing I’m doing in the practice,” Dr. Baran said. “If someone wants to volunteer to help out, if someone has any dental experience, that would be great as well. We’re hoping for this to be an annual event.”
Dr. Baran’s “Royal Oak Smiles” office is located at 1103 N. Main Street, between 11 Mile and 12 Mile Roads. To book an appointment, call (248) 548-1440. For more information, visit royaloaksmiles.com.
