Candidates chosen for Lamphere Board of Education

OAKLAND COUNTY — Five candidates were competing for three six-year terms on the Lamphere Board of Education in the general election Nov. 8. 

Paul Cavanaugh came in first with 22.54% (2,367 votes), followed by Ryan McCann at 21.15% (2,221 votes) and Anthony Austin at 19.66% (2,065 votes).

The runners-up were Lexi Cousino at 18.64% (1,958 votes) and Dedra LeSage at 17.57% (1,845 votes).

There were 46 unassigned write-ins, accounting for 0.44% of the vote.
