SHELBY TOWNSHIP — In his rookie season, Steve Spisak was handed quite an experienced lineup. After longtime head coach Jason Gendreau stepped down from the helm of the Utica Eisenhower baseball program to take the same role at Pontiac Notre Dame Prep, Spisak filled the void. He inherited a lineup of 23 players on varsity that comprises 12 seniors, 10 juniors and a sophomore.
