WARREN — After breaking Warren Cousino High School’s home run record with 13 last season, senior Taylor Carraway was destined to earn the all-state honor.

ROCHESTER HILLS — Leading Rochester Adams varsity baseball to the Oakland Athletics Association-Red league title and the school’s single-season wins record, senior Parker Picot was dominant on the mound and at the plate.

ROCHESTER HILLS — After leading the Rochester Adams varsity softball team to the regional championship game, it was an easy decision for the Michigan High School Softball Coaches Association to name junior Ella McDonald first team all-state.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP — Super Bowl champion and Clinton Township Chippewa Valley High School graduate Sean Murphy-Bunting said his high school and community will always hold a special place in his heart.

SHELBY TOWNSHIP/UTICA/STERLING HEIGHTS — As the Macomb County Coaches Hall of Fame welcomed 19 new inductees on May 25 during a celebratory event at the Mirage in Clinton Township, Utica Community Schools was well represented with six inductees to its name.
