GROSSE POINTE WOODS — A loss in the regional finals ended a monumental run for a Grosse Pointe North girls basketball team that earned 12 straight wins during the 2022 season.

STERLING HEIGHTS — In a weekend of upsets and first-ever title winners, two teams and two bowlers stood tall at the finale of the Macomb County Bowling Championships Varsity Team and Singles Tournament on Jan. 14-15 at Sterling Lanes.

ROYAL OAK — Athletics was never in the cards for Pamela Moore as a potential career choice when she was a high school student at Royal Oak Kimball High School, which today is Royal Oak High School.

ROSEVILLE — In front of a packed crowd at Roseville High School Dec. 21, Roseville senior wide receiver and defensive back Amare Snowden committed to the University of Wisconsin to continue his football career.

ROCHESTER — For the past three seasons, a Rochester Adams ski team has represented the school at the Michigan High School Athletic Association Division 1 State Finals with both the boys and girls squads making it together the last two seasons.

BLOOMFIELD HILLS — Solidifying their position as one of the greatest Bloomfield Hills athletic teams in school history, the high school thought it only right to get the band back together to rejoice in the memory of their championship-winning season.
