ROCHESTER — The Rochester Hills Public Library is hoping to get back on the road again sometime in the new year, after maintenance issues forced officials to retire its bookmobile in October.

HARRISON TOWNSHIP — The Harrison Township Public Library has been given a revenue boost by township voters who elected to fund a library millage renewal with an increase for the next 10 years.

SHELBY TOWNSHIP — The Shelby Township Library will be hosting a Paws to Read event this Saturday for children to develop reading skills with a supportive friend who won’t judge or interrupt.

NOVI — Fall has brought the return of the Teen Space at the Novi Public Library. The space offers teens a venue to enjoy the company of their peers, do homework or play games in a monitored setting.

WARREN — Lincoln High School algebra teacher Darrius Alexander was at a loss for words.

MOUNT CLEMENS — After about two years of renovations and a temporary location, the Mount Clemens Public Library is getting ready to move back to its 150 Cass Ave. location and open by mid-November.
