MACOMB TOWNSHIP — Macomb Township resident Jeff Moore has seen a lot during his time in law enforcement. From the streets of Kansas City, Missouri, to taking down 90-year-old Sinaloa Cartel trafficker Leo Sharp with the Drug Enforcement Administration, what Moore has experienced could fill a novel.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP — The Clinton Township Board of Trustees began their regular meeting Oct. 3 with a presentation on road work.

HARRISON TOWNSHIP — The Department of the Air Force is considering Selfridge Air National Guard Base as the site of the foreign pilot training center for the F-35 fighter jet.

MACOMB TOWNSHIP — Macomb Township Treasurer Leon Drolet presented a report on township finances to the Board of Trustees at the Sept. 28 meeting.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP — Held on Sept. 28, Oct. 12 and Oct. 26, the Prince Drewry Park Market Days bring together local entrepreneurs and artisans to sell their goods within the community.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP — The Clinton Township Board of Trustees unanimously voted to reject the bid for the Civic Center’s parking lot repair project at its Monday, Sept. 26, meeting.

MOUNT CLEMENS — The Mount Clemens City Commission met Sept. 19th, spending much time responding to public comment and completing regular board items.

HARRISON TOWNSHIP — At its Sept. 26 meeting, the Harrison Township Board of Trustees voted unanimously to approve repairing bike paths throughout the township.

MACOMB TOWNSHIP — There is no understating the achievement of becoming an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America.

MACOMB TOWNSHIP — The Macomb Township Board of Trustees approved a series of infrastructure projects throughout the township at its meeting Sept. 14.

MOUNT CLEMENS — The Mount Clemens City Commission set water and sewer utility rates for the 2022-2023 fiscal year at its meeting on Sept. 6.

MOUNT CLEMENS — The Cairns Community Center in northeast Mount Clemens has reopened under a new operating partnership between Advancing Macomb and TCB Youth Mentoring.4

CLINTON TOWNSHIP — Auditors from Plante Moran presented a report of Clinton Township’s 2021-2022 fiscal year financial statements to the township board of trustees at its meeting on Sept. 12, giving the statements the highest praise of an “unmodified opinion.”

HARRISON TOWNSHIP — The Harrison Township Board of Trustees heard another marijuana business license appeal at its Sept. 12 meeting.

MACOMB TOWNSHIP — The Macomb Township Board of Trustees raised the minimum age for tobacco sales at the end of its Wednesday, Aug. 24, meeting.
