Police released this full-body image of the robbery suspect in the hope that someone might know the suspect's identity.
The suspect is said to have fled the scene in this gray vehicle, which is possibly a Ford EcoSport.
WOODS — Police were seeking the public’s help at press time to identify a man who is said to have robbed the Flagstar Bank at 19733 Mack Ave. in Grosse Pointe Woods at around 9:15 a.m. Friday, Aug. 5 — shortly after the branch opened for business.
Police said the robber entered the bank and demanded that a teller give him all the money in the cash drawer. The teller complied, and the suspect exited the bank and got into a gray vehicle — possibly a Ford EcoSport compact SUV — that was last seen heading west on Allard Avenue.
The suspect was described as a bald Black man about 40 to 50 years of age with glasses who was wearing a black zip-up hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a light blue disposable face mask. At press time, police had no information about the driver of the vehicle.
