ST. CLAIR SHORES — Team Stahls’ and the Detroit Red Wings Alumni will go on the “Power Play for Heroes” Nov. 10 to help raise funds for a recipient in need of a service dog.

ROCHESTER HILLS — As the Michigan High School Athletic Association Division 1 Girls Golf Finals wrapped up play Oct. 21 at Forest Akers West in East Lansing, the city of Rochester was well represented in the leaderboards.

TROY — A staple of Troy Athens golf throughout her four-year career, senior Ava Weeks earned an incredible achievement Oct. 10 at the Stony Creek Metropark Golf Course.

GROSSE POINTE FARMS — Grosse Pointe South swim and dive has found consistency at the Michigan High School Athletic Association Division 2 State Finals in the last few years, posting two runner-up finishes since 2019.

GROSSE POINTE FARMS — One of the more historic rivalries in the state of Michigan, Grosse Pointe North and Grosse Pointe South went head-to-head on Oct. 20 at South High School.

MACOMB TOWNSHIP — For the fourth-straight season, L’Anse Creuse football holds the upper hand over Macomb L’Anse Creuse North.
