ROCHESTER HILLS — Oakland University police issued an “all-clear” following reports of two gunmen on campus Nov. 14.

FERNDALE — A student at Ferndale High School has been arrested for allegedly making threats of violence on social media against the school.

FERNDALE — Ferndale High School and Ferndale Middle School were closed Monday, Nov. 14, after the district was the target of a threat on social media.

ROSEVILLE — A Roseville High School student is facing charges after allegedly bringing a gun to school.

SHELBY TOWNSHIP — On Nov. 5, the Shelby Township Police Department lost one of its members.

TROY — A 25-year-old man is in custody following a shooting that left another man dead at an apartment complex in Troy.

ROSEVILLE — A New York man who served as a Boy Scouts leader in Roseville, who was the first person to face charges as the result of an ongoing investigation by the Michigan attorney general, accepted a plea deal in court.

ROCHESTER HILLS — The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office is hoping that the public may have information to help identify the driver in a fatal hit-and-run crash that happened Saturday, Oct. 29, in Rochester Hills.

GROSSE POINTE SHORES — Grosse Pointe Shores Public Safety Department officers need a large set of skills, since they handle medical and ambulance runs, as well as police and fire duties.

FERNDALE — A 36-year-old Walled Lake man was arrested last month and charged with multiple counts of criminal sexual conduct dating back nearly 10 years.

SHELBY TOWNSHIP — The Shelby Township Police Department is investigating a hit and run that injured a pedestrian in a shopping center parking lot last month.

WARREN — In observance of National Fire Prevention Month in October, students in the Center Line High School firefighting class visited kindergarten and first grade students at local schools to talk to them about fire safety.

HAZEL PARK — Police have arrested the alleged gunman after a shooting at LG Energy Solution in Hazel Park, an incident that left one dead following what appears to have been an argument.

HAZEL PARK — An automated camera system that scans the license plates of passing cars and identifies vehicles reported missing or wanted has led to the arrest of a suspect allegedly found in possession of a stolen car.

NOVI — A Novi High School student has been suspended and faces possible charges for allegedly writing a threatening message on the bathroom wall at the school, according to Novi Police Cmdr. Jason Meier.   

NOVI — The Acme Partyworks Rental Co. building at 41326 Vincenti Court was lost to what appears to be an accidental fire Nov. 2, according to Novi Assistant Fire Chief John Martin.

ROSEVILLE — A suspect has been charged with two crimes after a body was found in the bed of a pickup truck Oct. 27 following a crash in the area of Common and Hayes roads in Roseville.

ROSEVILLE — Roseville police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest after a body was found in a vehicle following a traffic crash Oct. 27.

ROCHESTER HILLS — A 74-year-old man from Rochester Hills was killed in a three-vehicle traffic crash the evening of Oct. 12.
