DETROIT/EASTPOINTE — The Eastpointe Police Department took Jaylin Brazier into custody Jan. 22 on a felony warrant related to the Zion Foster case.
He had been named as a person of interest in her disappearance and turned himself in at a Detroit Police Department precinct on Jan. 19.
Foster, 17, of Eastpointe, was last seen Jan. 4 and last heard from Jan. 5. Police believe she was last with Brazier, her cousin through marriage, at his home in Detroit, in the area of Greenfield Road and the James Couzens Freeway, near Vassar Avenue.
Brazier will be arraigned in the 38th District Court on Monday at a time to be determined.
