MADISON HEIGHTS — The Detroit Institute of Arts has partnered with Oakland County Parks and Recreation to bring high-quality reproductions of famous art pieces to their parks, including the Red Oaks Nature Center, as part of the DIA’s Inside|Out program.

HAZEL PARK — Since the early 2000s, Hazel Park Neighborhood Enrichment has been living up to its name by keeping the community bright and vibrant, with beautification efforts encouraging residents to take pride in their homes, and gardening projects across the city.

MADISON HEIGHTS — New playscapes are coming to Rosie’s Park and Civic Center Park, and a new pavilion is in the works for Rosie’s Park, as well. Along with the disc golf course that recently opened at Rosie’s Park, the changes represent efforts by the Madison Heights City Council to improve quality of life in the community’s green spaces.
