WARREN — Tanaya Lewis will be sentenced Sept. 16 for the 2018 murder of her one-time friend and fellow student, Danyna Gibson, in a classroom at Fitzgerald High School. A no-contest plea entered before Judge Kathryn Viviano in Macomb County Circuit Court means she may not spend the rest of her life in prison.
