SHELBY TOWNSHIP — Shelby Township welcomed three new officers to its team from the Macomb Police Academy graduating class No. 104, which had its commencement ceremony Dec. 17. WARREN — A crop of veteran and new officers stood before their family members, friends and the Warren police “brotherhood” during a morning ceremony at City Hall Dec. 21. Police Commissioner Bill Dwyer told those assembled that the event embraced a new tradition, one that celebrates officers at the end of their service with the city, those taking on new challenges within the department and those coming to Warren to begin or continue their careers in law enforcement.
