FARMINGTON — Students and staff at Farmington High School faced three school shooting threats over the course of eight days, Oct. 31-Nov. 8.

FARMINGTON HILLS — On Nov. 11, Farmington Hills Police Chief Jeff King issued a statement about a North Farmington High School student being arrested for posting photographs of a nonsexual nature of female students to a pornographic website.

FARMINGTON HILLS — The Farmington Hills Police Department announced Oct. 22 that Dr. Zvi Levran had been arrested and charged with multiple counts of criminal sexual conduct.

NOVI — A 67-year-old Novi man was killed during the early morning Nov. 16 after he lost control of his vehicle and collided with another on Novi Road, south of Grand River Avenue, police said.

WARREN — The discovery of a sinkhole in Warren has led to repairs that may have prevented a bigger problem. The sinkhole was found last week on 10 Mile Road at Loretta Avenue, west of Mound Road.

ROSEVILLE — A man who was originally facing felony charges related to a body found in the bed of a pickup truck that he was driving at the time of a crash Oct. 27 is now facing a felony murder charge.

FERNDALE — Ferndale police arrested two Ferndale High School students a day apart for separately making threats against the school. 

OAKLAND TOWNSHIP — Voters of Oakland Township passed the renewal of a township police millage Nov. 8.

ROCHESTER/ROCHESTER HILLS/OAKLAND TOWNSHIP — Incumbent Jessica Gupta and newcomer Carol Beth Litkouhi outpaced challengers Eddie Hillery and Dennis Talluto for two six-year seats on the Rochester Community Schools Board of Education.

ROCHESTER HILLS — Oakland University police issued an “all-clear” following reports of two gunmen on campus Nov. 14.

ROCHESTER — For the past month or so, crews have been hard at work installing thousands of strands of lights to prepare downtown Rochester for the annual debut of its Big, Bright Light Show.
