One of the Cougars’ bigger issues, according to the coach, is in-game composure.

The Norsemen made it to the Class A state semifinal before falling to eventual champion Saginaw Heritage, but Bennett said this is a new team that will leave its own mark.

That’s the case for coach Michael Satawa and his Utica Eisenhower girls basketball team. After a 10-0 season in the Macomb Area Conference White Division last year, Ike made the jump to the MAC Red.
