1. Motor City Comic Con

2. Berkley Days
May 12-15 • Berkley Community Center
Berkley Days, which began in 1926, will take place May 12-15 at the Berkley Community Center, 2400 Robina. Activities will include games and rides on the midway; dodgeball karaoke; dueling pianos and other live entertainment; pony rides and a petting farm; trivia night; puppy yoga; a dunk tank; and more. There will also be fair food, food trucks and a beer tent. Additionally, 5K and 10K runs will begin at 8 a.m. May 14 at Hurly Field, behind Anderson Middle School, 3205 Catalpa Drive. 3. Friends of Foster Kids 5K run
May 14 • Sterling Heights High School
The Philip S. Killoran National Honor Society Chapter at Sterling Heights High School, 12901 15 Mile Road, will host a competitive 5K run May 14 to raise money for the nonprofit organization Friends of Foster Kids. Check-in will be at 8:30 a.m. and the open-road race will start at 10 a.m. Registration is $30 and includes a T-shirt, bib number, timing chip and a door prize drawing ticket. If walking is more your speed, a family fun run — in which participants go 1 mile at their own pace — will take place at 9:30 a.m. on the track. The entry fee is $20. 4. Vintage 'base ball' games
May 14 • Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm
The Rochester Grangers — a vintage “base ball” team which uses equipment, uniforms and rules circa the late 1800s — will kick off its season vs. the Detroit Base Ball Club at 1 p.m. May 14 at the Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm, 1005 Van Hoosen Road. Admission is free, but fans should bring their own drinks and snacks, and chairs or blankets. 5. Treasure Hunters Market
May 14 • Dodge Park, Sterling Heights
The city of Sterling Heights will hold its Treasure Hunters Market from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 14 at the Dodge Park Farmers Market Pavilion, 40620 Utica Road.
