ROYAL OAK — Amid resident outcry, Royal Oak is looking to make changes to its parking system in the downtown.

MACOMB TOWNSHIP — Zoning once again was the talk of the Macomb Township Board of Trustees meeting Feb. 22, with trustees approving a planned unit development along 24 Mile Road.

WARREN — On Feb. 28, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and the Michigan Economic Development Corp. announced two business expansion projects in Michigan, one in Warren and the other in Jackson.

SOUTHFIELD — The late Frank B. Sewell, 1916-2006, or as some called him, “The Ringmaster,” marched to the beat of his own drum.

OAKLAND TOWNSHIP — New safety paths could soon be in the works in Oakland Township.

MADISON HEIGHTS — At a workshop by the Madison Heights Planning Commission Feb. 6, the citizen-led board discussed possible revisions to the city’s zoning ordinance.

FARMINGTON — When the U.S. House of Representatives passed a $1.7 trillion omnibus spending bill Dec. 23 to fund the federal government through fiscal year 2023, one of the big winners was the city of Farmington.
