CLAWSON — Tylaj Clark-Spencer, a 21-year-old resident of Howell, was sentenced in Oakland County Circuit Court last week to 75 months to 15 years in prison for manslaughter for a fatal shooting in Clawson last May.

SHELBY TOWNSHIP — A man from Mount Clemens has been charged with stealing $1,400 in groceries from a Kroger in Shelby Township.

STERLING HEIGHTS — A man who was facing trial on weapons-related charges stemming from a November road-rage incident in Sterling Heights has pleaded guilty and will be sentenced next month in Macomb County Circuit Court.

ROSEVILLE — A suspect has been arraigned following a standoff that left a Roseville police officer injured.

WARREN — A 24-year-old Warren woman is facing charges after a 3-year-old found an unsecured handgun and shot himself in the hand.

HAZEL PARK — A man accused of breaking into a Hazel Park marijuana facility last summer with a group that held a security guard at gunpoint has been captured by Hazel Park police following a high-speed car chase.

HAZEL PARK — A local man has been arraigned on felony charges following a violent attack in which he reportedly used a hatchet to attack a visitor to his home.

MOUNT CLEMENS — Narcotics charges have been added to the long list of allegations against a Clinton Township man on trial for a series of crimes, including an alleged felonious assault, that occurred in mid-January.

FERNDALE — A man found guilty of the murder of a DoorDash driver last year in Ferndale presumably will spend the rest of his life behind bars.

ROCHESTER HILLS — Police are searching for two suspects following a stabbing on the campus of Oakland University Thursday night. 

EASTPOINTE — Police have identified the person they believe is responsible in a recent hit-and-run crash that left a woman hospitalized with severe injuries.

EASTPOINTE — A verbal dispute nearly turned deadly when a man allegedly aimed a handgun at a woman’s head, threatened to kill her, and then fired the gun in the air as she fled the scene with her child.
