SHELBY TOWNSHIP — The Shelby Township Library began offering curbside service this week, as it continues to clean up after pipes froze and burst on Christmas Eve, causing — in the words of the township’s website — a “substantial claim.”

OAKLAND TOWNSHIP — Police have identified a person of interest connected to a hit-and-run crash that killed a man from Shelby Township the morning of Jan. 1.

UTICA/SHELBY TOWNSHIP — The Kiwanis Club of Utica-Shelby Township is a community service organization in Utica whose mission is to help youth and the community through charitable works.

UTICA — A Utica resident was recently recognized with a certificate from the American Heart Association for performing lifesaving CPR on a bicyclist back in March.
