CLINTON TOWNSHIP — Big changes are coming to young readers in Clintondale Community Schools. For the first time in two decades, the small Clinton Township school district is updating its language arts curriculum.

WARREN — The cheers heard inside the Lincoln Middle School gymnasium Aug. 2 were from the audience of parents and students showing their appreciation for the dance show on stage.

WARREN — Several days before the Macomb Community College 2023 fall semester began, officials unveiled the new Skilled Trades and Advanced Technology Center on the college’s South Campus.

SOUTHFIELD — The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services Child and Adolescent Health Center program is providing Adlai Stevenson Elementary School with a $180,000 grant to partner with Authority Health to open a Child and Adolescent Health Center within the Southfield Public Schools district.

ROSEVILLE — Five years ago in 2018, Roseville Community Schools voters passed a $58.9 million bond issue to fund building updates throughout the district.

GROSSE POINTES FARMS — With the school year fast approaching and no new contract in sight, teachers and administrators have been exiting the Grosse Pointe Public School System at what many local parents and educators say has been an alarming pace in recent weeks.

ROCHESTER — Rochester Community Schools Superintendent Robert Shaner has resigned from his position, according to Board of Education President Michelle Bueltel.
