WARREN — Newly elected Warren City Council members had their first council meeting Nov. 28 and voted in new officers.

WARREN — A former Warren police officer accused of depriving a prisoner of his constitutional rights by using excessive force inside the jail and filing a false report has been named in a federal indictment.

WARREN — Lori Stone, a career educator who left the classroom for a seat in the state Legislature, made history on Nov. 7 as the first woman to be elected mayor of Warren

WARREN — Several hundred supporters and well-wishers gathered in the Larsa Palace Banquet Center on Old 13 Mile Road Nov. 2 for Warren Mayor James Fouts’ retirement party after more than 43 years as an elected official.

WARREN — Five people were injured and transported to the hospital after a three-car crash at the intersection of Van Dyke Avenue and Chicago Road at around 5:15 p.m. on Oct. 15.

CENTER LINE — Center Line is taking steps to restore its tree canopy, with two tree-planting events this month.
