ROCHESTER HILLS — A 57-year-old man from Oxford has died and another is in critical condition from injuries sustained during a three-vehicle crash on M-59 in Rochester Hills Sept. 11.

ROSEVILLE/WARREN — A former Roseville police officer is facing charges after an investigation by the Michigan State Police revealed that he allegedly was in possession of child sexually abusive material.

WARREN — On Aug. 29, the heroic efforts of Warren police officer Brenden Fraser resulted in a toddler regaining the ability to breathe on his own.

FRASER — On Sept. 7, 33-year-old Detroit resident Jeffery Clark was sentenced to life in prison without parole for the 2022 murder of Jerray Robertson.

SHELBY TOWNSHIP — Two Shelby Township police officers reportedly were injured while attempting to make an arrest in the 51000 block of Clear Spring Lane, near 23 Mile and Ryan Roads, at 10:45 p.m. Sept. 9.

STERLING HEIGHTS — A Sterling Heights resident was recently sentenced for the 2018 murder of a transgender woman in Detroit.

WARREN — On Sept. 5, Macomb County Circuit Court Judge James M. Biernat Jr. resolved and closed the case Warren City Councilman Eddie Kabacinski filed against fellow candidates and election officials after the primary election last month.

EASTPOINTE — A 38-year-old man from Redford is facing charges for allegedly shooting multiple people at an Eastpointe residence. On Sunday, Sept. 3, Dominic Flynn allegedly arrived at a party in the area of Toepfer Drive and Kelly Road and shot three people.

ST. CLAIR SHORES — Lakeview Public Schools will be introducing K-9 units this school year to keep students safe and prevent anything dangerous from coming into the school buildings.

TROY/AUBURN HILLS — Four suspects were taken into custody during an alleged armed robbery attempt at Oakland Mall 13 days after committing a different armed robbery, authorities believe.

SOUTHFIELD — In the early hours of Friday, Sept. 1, at approximately 2:33 a.m., Southfield police were led on a 14-minute high-speed chase after responding to a breaking and entering at Lume Cannabis Recreational Dispensary, 26760 Lahser Road.
