ROSEVILLE — Roseville Community Schools dealt with two separate incidents last week that left staff and students unsettled.

EASTPOINTE — A group of young children who gathered at the Eastpointe Fire Station Nov. 17 anxiously awaited the arrival of the city’s brand-new fire engine.

A phone call home is all it took for a missing and vulnerable adult to make it home safely. 

GROSSE POINTE WOODS — Looks can be deceiving. New Grosse Pointe Woods Public Safety K-9 Arcos will be able to locate and, if needed, bite a suspect, but he’s also a bouncy, energetic, adorable puppy.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP — An investigation remained ongoing at press time Dec. 3, more than a week after a shooting at The Mall at Partridge Creek left one man injured.

MACOMB TOWNSHIP — With the cost of food going up and inflation on people’s minds, students at one Chippewa Valley school will soon be able to get food they need regardless of the economic situation at home.

FERNDALE — A 68-year-old Detroit man was arrested for allegedly committing an armed robbery at a bank in Ferndale earlier this month.

FERNDALE — The city of Ferndale’s relationship with Flock Safety cameras has come to an end.

WARREN — A man is facing charges for allegedly making threats against Warren police and a district court judge.

WARREN — Four months after first announcing it, the Warren Police Department is seeing success in an initiative aimed at combating domestic violence in the city.

SHELBY TOWNSHIP — Three men were arrested after multiple law enforcement agencies reportedly seized drugs, firearms, vehicles and hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash during a raid of four sites in Shelby Township Nov. 6.

FARMINGTON HILLS — An Oakland County woman was arraigned in the 47th District Court in Farmington Hills Nov. 19, where she faces charges related to a car crash that killed a road crewman and married father of six. Two others were seriously injured in the July incident.

MOUNT CLEMENS — There are not many traditions that have been running for 50 years, but the Mount Clemens Santa Parade is one of them.

EASTPOINTE — Authorities are investigating an alleged assault that resulted in the death of an Eastpointe resident.

EASTPOINTE — While many residents thought the discussion of the proposed Nine Mile Road diet was over, the Eastpointe City Council took up the issue again at its Nov. 18 meeting.

STERLING HEIGHTS — One suspect is in custody following a suspected road rage and shooting incident.
