MACOMB COUNTY — For the past several years, Gail Marlow has been on a mission to help the less fortunate.

FRASER — Three Fraser teachers were recognized by the Veterans of Foreign Wars on Nov. 15 for their efforts to incorporate patriotism and civic responsibility in their lesson plans for students.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP — The Clinton Township Board of Trustees approved a resolution to add Juneteenth and Martin Luther King Jr. Day as paid holidays for township employees at its Nov. 14 meeting.

FRASER — It’s been eight years since Fraser soccer last won a district title, and it looked like nine was going to be on the horizon at the start of the year.

MACOMB COUNTY — As Thanksgiving draws closer, local businesses are looking forward to the busiest time of the year: the holiday shopping season and Small Business Saturday.

FRASER — Throw on a costume, drop the books and grab some candy. The Fraser Public Library is inviting the public to join them for their third annual trunk-or-treat celebration on Saturday, Oct. 29.

FRASER — Fraser Public Schools is celebrating Fraser High School art teacher Roger Drabant, who has been recognized as the Michigan Art Education Association High School Division Art Teacher of the Year and the Michigan Art Educator of the Year.

FRASER — Students in Fraser Public Schools recently returned to classes and were greeted by four new principals and assistant principals who are helping lead the district.
