ROSEVILLE — A Roseville councilwoman who recently died is remembered as being passionate about the city and a good friend and confidant.

CENTER LINE — Criminal charges have been brought against a woman who crashed her car into a Center Line home earlier this month. On Oct. 13 at approximately 2:55 a.m., 20-year-old Caris Adell Wade, of Detroit, allegedly crashed her vehicle into a residence at the Kramer Homes Co-Op in Center Line, near MacArthur Boulevard and O’Hare Street. 

FARMINGTON HILLS — “Resilient,” “positive” and “optimistic” are words that peers use to describe Gary Bartle, 39, of Farmington Hills.

ROSEVILLE — The suspect in an officer-involved shooting that took place in Roseville earlier this month remained in critical condition Oct. 23, and the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office investigation found no evidence to charge the officers for their decision to fire.

MOUNT CLEMENS — On Oct. 22, Macomb County Sheriff Anthony Wickersham and Prosecutor Peter Lucido released the name of the suspect in the alleged attempted murder of a Macomb Township businessman earlier this month and outlined the charges he now faces.

TROY — A suspect has been arrested in a stabbing incident that occurred in late August. 

ROYAL OAK — Arts, Beats and Eats organizers announced on Oct. 14 that the festival generated a record $400,076.87 in contributions that will go toward local nonprofit organizations.
