Local softball talent well-represented on All-State teams

METRO DETROIT — Softball players from programs inside the C & G Sports coverage area have played their way to a prestigious honor.

The Michigan High School Softball Coaches Association recently released its All-State teams for Divisions 1-4, and the squads are littered with players from local schools.

Following is a list detailing all the local talent on each All-State team. Players who earned honorable mention are listed as well.

Division 1
All-State
Allisa DiPrima, Jenna Kroll and McKenzie Knight, Walled Lake Northern; Leah Munson and Marisa Muglia, Warren Regina; and Brooke Nadolny, Harrison Township L’Anse Creuse.

Honorable mention
Julia O’Halla and Kendall Volpe, Grosse Pointe South; Mary Nash, Rochester Adams; Cayley Ebeling, Utica High; Samantha DiCicco, Macomb Dakota; Grace Nieto and Maggie Murphy, Farmington Hills Mercy; Cynthia Galvan, L’Anse Creuse; Paige Kolinski, Utica Eisenhower; Kaycee Loehr, Walled Lake Northern; and Kara Wolfbauer, St. Clair Shores Lake Shore.
