ROSEVILLE — The Michigan State Police are investigating a crash that took place in the early hours of Thanksgiving Day.

According to investigators, a vehicle was driving eastbound on Interstate 94, just west of Little Mack Ave. At around 2:30 a.m. Nov. 28, police said, the driver lost control of the vehicle, flew off the road and crashed through a fence and into a home in the 19000 block of Homeland Street in Roseville.

The residents were at home at the time, but no one was injured in the crash, police said. A vehicle parked in the garage was damaged.

“There were no injuries in the crash,” the Michigan State Police stated on Twitter. “The driver is suspected to be (operating while intoxicated) and has refused to participate in any preliminary tests, and a search warrant was sought. The driver was arrested and lodged. Investigation continues.”

The Michigan State Police said that they are awaiting the results of a blood test before they look into bringing charges forward against the driver.
