Suspect robs ATM technician at gunpoint in Roseville

ROSEVILLE — The Roseville Police Department is looking for a suspect in connection to the armed robbery of an ATM technician at approximately 10:50 a.m. Jan. 27 at the Bank of America on East 12 Mile Road at Little Mack Avenue.

According to investigators, the suspect broke an ATM at the bank and waited for the technician to arrive. Once the technician was there, the suspect allegedly held the technician at gunpoint and demanded that money be removed from the safe within the ATM.

Police said the suspect fled the scene in a white Dodge with a dealer registration plate and damage to the driver’s side brake light.

Investigators said the suspect escaped with $88,000.

The technician was not harmed during the encounter, police said.
