Groceries stolen from vehicle at Meijer

ROYAL OAK — A complainant reported that sometime between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. March 25, an unknown suspect stole two bags of groceries from her unlocked vehicle at Meijer, 5150 Coolidge Highway, north of 14 Mile Road.

She told police that she had placed her groceries inside her vehicle, reentered the store and then returned to her car to discover the larceny.

 

Bowling ball bag stolen from unlocked vehicle

ROYAL OAK — A complainant reported that sometime between 3:30 and 4 p.m. March 23, an unknown suspect stole a bowling ball bag from his unlocked vehicle, which had been  parked at Bangkok Cuisine, 32166 Woodward Ave., south of 14 Mile Road.

 

Complainant reports damage to vehicle

ROYAL OAK — A complainant reported that sometime between 9 a.m. March 21 and 8 a.m. March 22, an unknown suspect put a large dent in the driver’s door of the complainant’s vehicle, which had been parked in the 1200 block of North Washington Avenue, south of Crooks Road.

 

Police arrest driver in hit-and-run crash on drug charges

ROYAL OAK — Police arrested a 39-year-old Royal Oak resident after she allegedly hit a parked vehicle and left the scene at approximately 2:20 p.m. March 20 in the 600 block of North Alexander Avenue, near 11 Mile Road and Main Street.

Police officers observed an individual matching a witness’s description of the driver in a parking lot near 11 Mile and Campbell roads. The woman, who appeared to be under the influence of narcotics, admitted to striking the vehicle, and police located crack cocaine and narcotic paraphernalia in her possession, according to police.

Officers arrested the woman for possession of crack cocaine, operating while impaired, possession of narcotic paraphernalia, hit-and-run and a misdemeanor warrant from another jurisdiction.

 

Credit cards stolen from wallet at Meijer

ROYAL OAK — A complainant reported that sometime between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. March 20, an unknown suspect stole two credit cards from her wallet, which she had left near the self-scan checkout at Meijer, 5150 Coolidge Highway, north of 14 Mile Road.

 

Snowblower stolen from garage

ROYAL OAK — A complainant reported that sometime between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. March 20, an unknown suspect stole her snowblower from her unlocked garage in the 4700 block of Robinwood Avenue, near 14 Mile Road and Woodward Avenue.

 

Police arrest subject for retail fraud at Meijer

ROYAL OAK — At approximately 12:30 p.m. March 19, store security reportedly observed a subject not scanning his groceries and placing them in bags without paying at Meijer, 5150 Coolidge Highway, north of 14 Mile Road. Police arrested him for retail fraud.
