Roseville police investigate shooting on Superior Street

ROSEVILLE — A suspect is in custody after a shooting in the 16000 block of Superior Street in Roseville Sept. 10.

Roseville police officers responded to calls of a possible shooting at 3:15 p.m. A 45-year-old Warren man who had been shot several times in the face was located at the scene, according to investigators. 

Police said the victim was shot in front of a nearby house while he was sitting in his vehicle on Superior Street, which is east of Groesbeck Highway and north of 11 Mile Road. Police said that other details are unavailable at this time. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital where he was last listed in stable but serious condition, according to police.

Roseville police officials said that a 19-year-old Roseville man was taken into custody as a suspect not long after the shooting occurred. He will be arraigned on Monday, Sept. 14, in the 39th District Court, according to police.
